One of the biggest myths about starting a beauty brand is that you need to have everything figured out and a huge budget before you can begin.

You don't.

Starting small can actually be a smart way to build your brand.

Instead of launching with 20 products, you could begin with a focused collection of products that represent your brand. This allows you to test the market, understand your customers and learn what they love before expanding.

You can also start by being intentional about your packaging, quantities and product range. Small doesn't mean unprofessional. It simply means you're building strategically.

Your first launch doesn't have to be your biggest launch, it just needs to be a strong starting point.

As your brand grows, you can introduce more products, expand your range and increase your production based on demand.

So if you've been saying, “I want to start my beauty brand, but I don't have enough money yet…” consider starting with what you can realistically manage.

You don't need to start big. You just need to start smart.
